Sl1 = slip one stitch over to other needle

Using sport or worsted yarn.

GOWN
Cast on 118 st. Knit 5 rows
Next work 6 rows in stockinette stitch (st st - knit 1 row purl 1 row)
Continue in Pattern:
R1: K3, *yo, sl, k1, psso, k6; repeat from * to last 3 st; k3
R2 and all even rows: purl
R3: k1, *K2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k3. Repeat from * to last 6 st; k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k2.
R5: Repeat Row 1
Row 7: knit
Row 9: k7, *yo, sl1, k1, psso, k6, repeat from * to end.
Row 11: K5, *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k3, repeat * to last 5 st, k5
Row 13: Repeat Row 9
Row 15: Knit
Row 16: Purl *** Repeat pattern until 11 ½" or desired length, ending with Row 15

Bind off.
Stitch sleeves into gown. Sew back seam to eyelet row. Crochet chain about 30" in a different color yarn and weave thru eyelet row. You may also use ribbon.

BONNET

Cast on 14 st.
